Ozothamnus diosmifolius 'Radiance'
A great example of how good the common rice flower can look. Radiance bears multitudes of bright white flowers which appear as clusters atop mid-green foliage. It remains neat and compact, plus it flowers almost year round. Grown from tissue culture to ensure high healthy and reliable production performance.
Height to 1.5m
Width to 1m
Planting: Will perform best in free-draining soil in a full or part-sun location however this plant is tolerant of a range of poorer quality, but, still, free-draining soils. Will grow in a wide range of climates from cool to sub-tropical, plus, will handle coastal conditions and light frosts. Mulching is recommended. Try them in a larger patio pot!
Watering: Will do best in moist soil however will normally perform quite well on natural rainfall without much supplementary watering. Water in extended dry periods.
Fertiliser: Feed with a general purpose controlled release fertiliser in spring.
Pruning: Trim back untidy plants but don’t cut back too hard into old wood.
Pests and Diseases: No major issues here but always talk to your specialist plant retailer if you suspect there is a problem inhibiting healthy growth and flowering response.
