Dalliance is an easy care Lomandra that persists where others fail to endure. It has narrow, upright and fast growing foliage with lightly fragrant, golden yellow clustering blooms appearing from Spring through to Summer. This variety works particularly well in mass plantings when planted roughly 50cm apart.

Height to 1m

Width to 1m

Make sure the plant will get substantial sunlight, prefers a full sun position but will tolerate part shade as well. Will also tolerate most soil conditions, but will perform it's best in free-draining soils. Mulching is recommended.

While the plant is establishing it is a good idea to water the plant lightly for the first 2-3 months. After then it shouldn't require watering above natural rainfall, unless in prolonged or extreme drought. Should that be the case, the plant will appreciate a watering after 4 weeks of dry heat conditions.

Use a slow release fertiliser once a year in Spring, if needed.

It is unlikely that you will need to prune Dalliance, however, if the plant begins to look untidy it can easily be controlled by cutting the plant back to a few centimetres from the base of the plant. Do this as the temperatures start to warm up.
