Limonium Perezii Blue

Category: Limonium

Perezii Blue is a compact, hardy, proven performer that is an impeccable choice for the low maintenance garden. Perezii Blue bears clusters of tiny, purple and white, papery flowers which are perfect for use as a cut flower, as they appear on long, strong stems. Flowers appear similar to a canopy over the large, slightly leathery leaves. Limonium will tolerate salty soil and winds, in fact, it works so well in these areas we're certain you've seen it somewhere around the beach before.

Species Limonium Perezii

Maintenance Occasionally remove spent flower heads if desired and that’s about all you need to worry about. Able to handle many soil types (but prefer well drained soil) and look best when planted in multiples. Select a sunny position and space at about 40cm intervals. Can be used as a border plant.
Fertiliser Feed them with a small amount of a general purpose controlled release fertiliser in spring.
Watering These drought tolerant plants rarely need supplementary watering above that of natural rainfall. Of course, all plants need water, so it’s a good idea to water the plants as they are budding up, plus, in the heat of mid-summer or extended dry spells.
