Alstroemeria Princess Lilies®

Category: Alstroemeria

Three NEW Princess Lilies have joined the collection!

Princess Lilies lead the world for performance, colour choice and finished plant quality. Originally from South America, these plants are surprisingly hardy in Australian climates. They have a rhizome root structure which means they store nutrients and moisture underneath the soil. They can withstand prolonged dry spells and the plant stands up surprisingly well. All Princess Lilies are grown from elite quality tissue cultures for optimum performance.

Alstroemeria have a compact, mounding habit and flower profusely thoughout Spring and Autumn, however, depending on climate can flower up to nine months of the year. Perfect for use as a border along driveways or footpaths, and give an outstanding performance in a pot on the patio!

Fertiliser Feed in autumn and spring with a controlled release fertiliser to promote good plant health and promote flowering.
Watering Alstroemeria are surprisingly drought hardy however extra irrigation at the time of flower bud formation will benefit flowering performance. It's best to keep the plant moist in dry conditions to encourage new growth, especially when planted in pots.
