Hybridised in Australia, Silvanberry bears luscious, large, slightly acidic, dark red berries from early summer. A vigorous plant with abundant fruit production which can produce canes up to 7m long. Derived from high-health, tissue cultured stock.

Maintenance Prefers well drained, slightly acidic, compost-rich soil and full sun position. Remove old canes in winter. Harvest when berries are ripe as they won’t ripen off the vine. Freeze or use immediately. Train onto wires or a trellis.
Fertiliser Feed with a controlled release fertiliser in early spring. Self fertile.
Watering Keep soil moist whilst plant is establishing and keep it mulched.
Tolerances Salt Tolerant (Coastal), Light Frost Tolerant
