 These Gazania are recommended by NGINA as a non-invasive alternative to seed-grown Gazania. They are long-lived, hardy, reliable, low maintenance plants that are able to withstand extended periods of dryness. These quick, low growing varieties will produce regular flushes of flowers throughout the year.

Maintenance Able to handle many soil types and look best when planted in multiples. Select a sunny position and space at about 40cm intervals. Occasionally remove spent flower heads if desired and that about all you need to worry about. Summer is a good time to do this.
Fertiliser Feed them with a small amount of a general purpose controlled release fertiliser in spring and autumn.
Watering These drought tolerant plants rarely need supplementary watering above that of natural rainfall. Of course, all plants need water, so it’s a good idea to water the plants as they are budding up as well as in the heat of mid-summer.
Pest & Diseases Gazania has no major pest or disease issues.
