Disphyllum Sunpeach

Category: Disphyllum

Bred in Australia

Sunpeach was bred by the renown succulent collector and breeder Attila Kapitany. Being a sport of the popular Disphyllum Sunburn you can trust that this plant will perform in unforgiving conditions and will produce a prolific amount of peach coloured flowers throughout the warmer months of the year. A perfect feature plant for those tough areas to fill. Luminous tones of pink/peach with a golden centre contrasts the bottle green succulent foliage. Only growing up to 10cm high, this variety is great for weed suppression and filling areas with height restraints. Perfect for retaining walls, slopes and mass plantings.

Maintenance Sunpeach will prefer free-draining soils, but isn't fussy when it comes to soil quality. It requires full sun and is best planted during the warmer months. Sunpeach shouldn't require pruning, however, should the plant become untidy, a light trim after flowering will help to keep the plant looking tidy.
Fertiliser Shouldn’t require fertilizing, however fertilise in spring should the plant require a boost.
Watering Supplementary watering is required while establishing. Sunpeach is drought resistant once established and should not require extra water above natural rainfall. Pot specimens will require more attention.
Pest & Diseases Pests and diseases shouldn't become a problem, consult your local plant specialist should any problems occur.
